The Main Office
Brett and Sara Bowersox have lived in Ashton for sometime now. Brett was born and raised here and helps run the family farm with his brother, Bill. Brett married Sara a few years ago and they live up on Cherry Butte in Warm River. Sara has served on several committees in town, and currently serves on the Ashton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is the Urban Renewal Chairman for the City of Ashton.
Sara has always had a dream for years of being able to help the small business, self-employed, people of this area start and build successful businesses. She has worked for a large company since she graduated from college, so hasn’t been able to do much more than volunteer work. This year, that employment came to an end.
This spring, Brett and Sara were able to purchase the building at 512 Main Street, previously owned by the Henry’s Fork Foundation. This building has already been retrofitted to house offices and to be energy efficient. With minimal effort on their part, they have turned it into office space for rent here in Ashton.
They are offering furnished offices with utilities and internet included. The offices vary in size and can accommodate different types of businesses that need space in town. Rent for the office space will range from $250-$350 per month. They’re upgrading the internet capability to speeds up to 50 Mbps (40 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up) to allow fast access for their tenants. Restrooms will be available. There will be a conference room that can be rented by the hour, day or week, and we have open space which can be used for a small fee by anyone who needs space to do some work on the internet but does not need a full office. They foresee installing a printer/fax/scanner for the use of their tenants and possibly others.
They want to help small local business owners who would like to have a presence in town. For more information about The Main Office, please contact Sara @ 208-652-0134.
